Event Description

This is one of the challenging hiking trails in the UAE that is great for those with good fitness, endurance and hiking experience.

Starting at the Wadi below Jebel Yibir, we head up to reach the abandoned farmlands and then continue our way up to reach the summit. This not so famous but highly rewarding trail is a MUST do for hiking enthusiasts and those training for bigger challenges. The summit is one of the only few places in UAE where you can see both, east and the west coast.

– Meet at / near the hike start point at the Event Time (as mentioned above).
– 10-minute buffer for check-in and late arrivals.
– Convoy / short drive to the hike start point exactly 15 minutes after the Event Time.
– Briefing, introductions, and gear check at the hike start point.
– Hike begins shortly after the briefing (within 10 minutes).
– Event finish time is approximate hike end time (finish time may vary slightly, depending on group pace and trail conditions)

Jebel Yibir Summit is located in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, where the main part of the hike takes place. Drive time from Dubai to the hike start point is approximately 1 hour 40 minutes. The start point is also about 30 minutes from the Taween (Fujairah) meeting point.
