Event Description
Explore the dramatic canyon landscapes of Wadi Koob. Expect exposed ledge walks, deep wadi pools (season dependent), and an adventurous out-and-back route through some of the UAE’s most impressive natural scenery.
⚠️ NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ANYONE WITH A FEAR OF HEIGHTS.
The hike follows the wadi floor (riverbed), winding between towering canyon walls and striking rock formations shaped by time and water. Along the way, the route passes through narrow canyon sections, over uneven rock, and around deep pools when water is present. Some sections require careful footing and confident movement across rocky terrain. This is a same-way-in, same-way-out hike, returning along the same trail.
Important: Parts of the route involve exposed ledge walks at height and narrow ledges. Participants should feel comfortable with heights and be confident navigating this type of terrain. This hike is not recommended for anyone with a fear of heights.
Little over an hour and half drive from Dubai. Near the village of Al Fahlayn in Ras Al Khaimah.
