Join us to explore how traditional farming and irrigation systems worked and still work in the Hajar Mountains of the UAE. Discover which plants and wildlife thrive thanks to these natural freshwater pools, and uncover the hidden wonders of this unique landscape.

As one of the few wadis with natural running water, Wadi Abadillah is a must-see for adventure lovers and nature enthusiasts alike.

BEGINNERS PLUS 4/10 level hike is suitable for physically fit beginner hikers of AFT, those with basic local hiking experience and. The attendees must be able to walk with a 4 to 5 kg pack for the duration of the hike.

This hike is suitable for kids above 12 years. Attendees must be able to carry up to 5kg pack for the duration of the event.

Little over an hour drive from Dubai. Along the way to the town of Masafi in the Emirate of Fujairah.

– Water 2.5 liters and hydration drinks (sports water)
– Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen)
– Energy bars and snacks
– Headlamp with extra batteries (mandatory)

Any car can reach the hike start point. 4×4 are NOT mandatory. 

Carpooling is organized among confirmed participants via a WhatsApp group. While we do our best to help you find a ride, carpooling availability cannot be guaranteed. If you are unable to find a carpool partner, the full cost of the hike will be refunded.
