Join us for a night hike just an hour from Dubai, in the scenic hills of Shawka. The trail gently winds through and around natural wadi pools, offering peaceful desert landscapes and a sense of quiet escape from the city.

As the sun sets, you’ll enjoy stunning views over the surrounding hills, with the chain of low mountains creating a perfect silhouette against the evening sky. Once darkness falls, we’ll continue under the stars – exploring the terrain by headlamp in a safe, guided environment.

This night exploration hike is ideal for beginner-plus level hikers: accessible and rewarding, with light challenges that help you build confidence and endurance – a great step toward more advanced hiking experiences.

BEGINNERS PLUS 4/10 level hike is suitable for physically fit beginner hikers of AFT, those with basic local hiking experience and. The attendees must be able to walk with a 4 to 5 kg pack for the duration of the hike.
Although the hike will get you a good workout but this level does not include any technical terrain or exposed parts to climb.

Suitable for age 12 years and above.
