Escape the summer heat and join us on a 4-day guided expedition across Oman-moving from cool high-altitude mountains to hidden wadis, and finally to a remote coastline where the land meets the sea. This journey is designed as a progressive experience, where each day reveals a new landscape. The exact locations won’t be shared in advance, but every route has been carefully explored and planned by our team. Expect cooler mountain air, raw nature, wild camping, and moments that stay with you long after the trip ends.

Leaving: Wednesday, May 27
Returning: Saturday, May 30
Participants have the option to join/leave as per their schedule. If you have your own transport arrangements, you can catch the group on any day during this trip.

Day 1 – Wednesday, May 27
– Departure from UAE in the early morning.
– Border crossing into Oman
– Scenic drive into the mountains
– Lunch along the way
– Set up camp and enjoy the cooler air
– Group dinner at campsite

Day 2 – Thursday, May 28
– Breakfast at camp
– Explore terraced farms and traditional villages
– Discover falaj irrigation systems and hidden water pools
– Sunset viewpoints and return to camp
– Dinner and overnight stay at high altitude

Day 3 – Friday, May 29
– Early breakfast
– 5 hours hike to remote hidden waterfalls
– Drive toward lower elevations
– Explore a hidden wadi and swim in natural pools
– Continue toward the coastline
– Camp near beach
– Dinner and campfire under the stars

Day 4 – Saturday, May 30
– Sunrise by the sea,
– Snorkel/Swim along the beach
– Leisurely morning with optional short walk
– Breakfast at a roadside café
– Begin return journey to UAE
– Arrival by before midnight

This is an active expedition rather than a leisure tour.
Participants should be physically prepared for Intermediate level (5/10) hiking, long drives, and outdoor camping conditions.

We keep the group limited to 16 individuals on a first-come, first-served basis.

– 4×4 Riders – AED 600
You must offer two seats for passengers and cover fuel costs to avail this rate.
– Ride Seekers – AED 1,500
Includes transportation and fuel costs for participants who need a ride.
– Family/Friends – AED 1,200
For groups of 3+ joining with their own transport. This fee applies per person (driver and passengers).
Special offer: Summer Pass Holders receive -15% discount on all rates.

2. If you would like to rent camping gear, we offer the following options:
– Tent + Sleep Kit (sleeping bag + sleeping mat) for rent: +80 AED
– Tent for rent: +40 AED
– Sleep Kit (sleeping bag + sleeping mat) for rent: +40 AED
(Even if you do not need sleeping mat/sleeping bag, price will be same).
While booking your spot on the website, you can easily add any additional items to your order for payment.

Important: Registration closes at the stated deadline, but spots are limited, so available places may run out before the closing date. We strongly recommend booking early to secure your place.

– Utensils. We encourage the use of lightweight reusable utensils and personal camping tableware. To minimise environmental impact, no single-use or disposable items will be provided by the team. Please help us keep the mountains clean and respect nature 🌿. 

Participants must carry all required valid identification documents for the full duration of the trip, as well as any documents necessary for border crossing (Emirates ID, passport – if required, visa – if applicable, etc.).

If you are joining as a driver, you are also responsible for ensuring you have valid vehicle documents, including a valid driver’s license and insurance covering travel in Oman.

Locations will be shared through WhatsApp group, two days before the event.

If you decide to drive your own car (4×4 riders option), you can expect around 1,200-1,500 km in total for the whole trip (from Dubai and back). The route is mostly on regular roads, although it may include a few km of off-roading depending on conditions and locations, so a proper 4×4 vehicle is required to ensure a smooth experience.

To keep the journey more economical and social, we encourage carpooling for this event – ideally 3-4 people per car.

A full refund is offered if the event is canceled or rescheduled by the organizers. No refund if a participant cancels or fails to join for any reason.

AFT Mountain Adventures LLC is a RAKTDA licensed organization with experienced mountaineers leading the hikes. Venturing outdoors and in the mountains involves inherent risks including but not limited to wildlife encounters, injuries from uneven terrain, weather-related conditions, and other unforeseen factors.
