This will be an afternoon field trip, where the team will start their walk through the mountain and desert dunes of Mleiha. Along the way we learn about the geological features and discover millions of years old fossils. Once we return to our cars, we drive down to a nearby Geological Park where you get to watch the documentary about how these mountains were formed.

TERRAIN: Desert dunes, off-road sand track and rocky slopes.

OPEN TO ALL: This level hike is suitable for any healthy individual including kids of age 5 years and above (accompanied by a parent/guardian).
Although this level does not include any technical terrain or exposed parts to climb but participants must be able to walk for distance of upto 4 km.

Mleiha is one of the closest mountains from Dubai and Sharjah. Just about 45 minutes from Dubai Airport, near the town of Mleiha Sharjah.

Carpooling is organized between the paid participants. A WhatsApp group will be created for confirmed participants where you’ll be able to find a ride partner.
