This will be a morning to afternoon hike, where we will enjoy the beautiful hike through one of the most beautiful wadi with small water pools and vegetation to reach a saddle between the mountains. From here we enjoy the views over the layers of Hajar mountains.
The chain of lower mountains creates a beautiful backdrop for photography, and if lucky, we get some running water during the hike as well.
Due to being well secluded, there is possibility of encountering wildlife such as the rare Arabian Tahr, Saw-scaled vipers, Arabian Red fox and ferrel donkeys etc.

1. INTERMEDIATE 5/10 level hikes are suitable for those individuals who are physically above average fit but new to hiking. Hikers of this level must have hiking boots and hiking specific backpack with shoulder, waist and chest strap. This level is also suitable for physically fit and sporty kids above the age of 10 years.
2. INTERMEDIATE PLUS 7/10 level hike is suitable for regular hikers of AFT, those with local hiking experience and those who have complete hiking kit, including hiking-specific boots, backpack, hydration bladder, first aid kit.
   NOT suitable for first-time joiners and kids below 14 years or anyone that hasn’t hiked over 10 hour hikes in the UAE previously.

Little over an hour drive from Dubai. On the way to the village of Esfai near Fujairah. This hike is a signature trail only lead by Team AFT for many years.

Any car can reach the hike start point. 4×4 cars are NOT mandatory.
