SUMMER SPECIAL! Desert Walk & Wild Camp

Looking for a real break from city life? Join us for a relaxed overnight desert adventure! After sunset, the desert gets much cooler, even in summer, so you can still enjoy the outdoors. We’ll set up camp, make a fire, and spend the night under a sky full of stars with adventure movie. It’s the perfect chance to chat, relax, and take in the peaceful desert atmosphere.

Join the early morning sunrise hike to explore the beauty of desert well before the sun gets too hot. The air is fresh, and the views as the sun comes up are amazing.

No special experience needed, just bring your sense of adventure and enjoy summer night under the star, connect with our adventure community and a beautiful morning at Al Qudra Desert close to our home!

This adventure is suitable for ALL including Families with kids over 12 years.

Don’t have your own camping gear? No worries! We’ve got you covered with everything you need for an epic outdoor adventure. All what you need for camp (tents, sleeping bags and mat) delivered at campsite for a night under the stars.

Get ready for unforgettable moments, and we’ll take care of the rest!

Day 1 – MAY 22 (FRIDAY)
04:30 PM – Meet at the Al Qudra Cycle Track – Car Park
04:45 PM – Drive to the Campsite
05:00-06:00 PM – Arrival to the Campsite Camp Setup
06:00-08:00 PM – Sunset Hike
08:00 PM – Bonfire, tea & s’mores, talks & games under the stars
10:30 PM – Sleep in Tents

Day 2 – MAY 23 (SATURDAY)
05:15 AM Optional early wake-up for those who don’t want to miss the sunrise magic
06:00 AM Wake-up
06:30-07:00 AM Camp Breakdown
07:00 AM Light breakfast (Tea & Buiscuits & Fruits)
08:00 AM Good bye

You can choose the option that suits you best:

1. Package “DESERT WALK & WILD CAMPING” – 80 AED
You will be able to join Camping in Wilderness & Sunrise hike (2 in 1).
This package does not include any camping gear. Camping gear can be rented separately if needed (see below for pricing details).
Even if you don’t plan to stay for the camp, the price remains the same – you’re still welcome to enjoy the hike, dinner, and evening by the fire.

2. If you would like to rent camping gear, we offer the following options:
– Tent + Sleep Kit (sleeping bag + sleeping mat) for rent: +50 AED
– Tent for rent: +30 AED
– Sleep Kit (sleeping bag + sleeping mat) for rent: +30 AED
While booking your spot on the website, you can easily add any additional items to your order for payment.

– Jacket or Layers: temperatures can drop at evening and night, so bring a fleece or light jacket (or both)

– Summer sleeping Bag, 25 degree comfort rated (available for rent) / thin blanket

All first time participants must fill AFT Waiver & Emergency information forms (link to the forms will be sent after payment through the website with the booking confirmation).

Always keep EID along during the hike.

Although all cars can reach the campsite, 4X4s or SUV are preferred.

Carpooling is organized among confirmed participants via a WhatsApp group. While we do our best to help you find a ride, carpooling availability cannot be guaranteed. If you are unable to find a carpool partner, the full cost of the hike will be refunded.

WhatsApp group will be created 24-36 hours before event for confirmed participants where you might be able to find a ride partner.

AFT Mountain Adventures is a licensed organization with experienced mountaineers that lead the hikes. But kindly note that hiking in the mountains involves certain dangers including but not limited to, venomous wildlife encounter, falling over rocks, weather triggered sicknesses and possibilities of any other accidents. Your participation in the event and wellbeing remains your sole responsibility.

By signing up to this event, you on behalf of yourself, your participating guests and your heirs and minors, agree as set out above; hold AFT Mountain Adventures harmless and free of blame for any accident, injury, illness or damage related to this or arising out of or during any other event, including any claim that AFT Mountain Adventures and/or it’s members were negligent; and release any person associated with AFT Mountain Adventures who provides assistance, advice or aid during an event from all liability for any act or omission in connection with such provision, including any claim that such person was negligent.
