We’ve been organizing adventures to Salalah since 2016, and we know every hidden corner, every turn where the landscape suddenly takes your breath away.

MORE THAN A TRIP – EVERYTHING HANDLED
This isn’t a package or a drop-you-at-the-hotel tour. It’s a small-group 4×4 expedition – limited to just 16 adventurers – into Salalah’s hidden corners that regular tours can’t reach.

Your transport, 2 (two) camping nights, 1 (one) hotel night, all meals, and expert guiding are all taken care of – from the UAE and back. You just show up and experience it. Small group. Real adventure. Places most visitors never see.

TRIP FORMAT
– Duration: 4 days / 3 nights
– Accommodation: 2 nights wild camping + 1 hotel night in between (twin/triple sharing basis). The hotel night is your reset – a hot shower and a proper bed between the adventure days.
– Group size: limited to 16 adventurers only (small group).
– Transport: 4×4/SUV convoy – one team, one pace.

FLEXIBILITY FOR ALL TRAVELLERS
– Have your own transport? Join or leave any day – we’ll help you sync with the group (price remains the same)
– Prefer flying? Meet us in Salalah and join the group on arrival (check Fly-in price section).
– Driving from the UAE? The group departs early morning and travels together as a convoy.

This experience is limited to 16 adventurers only (small group).

BEGINNERS PLUS 4/10 level hikes incl., and suitable for physically fit beginner hikers, those with basic local hiking experience and for those who prefer authentic wild camping experience. The attendees must be able to walk with a 4 to 5 kg pack for the duration of the hike.

Suitable for active kids (age limit – 14+) and anyone uncomfortable walking on loose rocks or rocky wadis.

1. From the UAE (4×4 road trip included as part of the experience):
– Ride Seekers – AED 2,300 (all-inclusive). A guaranteed seat in a 4×4, full transport from the UAE and back, all fuel included.

✓ Ideal for those who don’t own an off-road car
– Family/Friends – AED 2,000 per person. Travelling together (2+) in your own 4×4. Fuel split within your group.
✓ Perfect for friends or families traveling together in their own vehicles and not be able to offer ride.
– 4×4 / SUV Owners – AED 1,500. Bringing your own 4×4/SUV and offering 2 passenger seats (min). Our best rate – for those who help move the group.
✓ You must offer 2 (two) seats for passengers and bear the fuel cost to avail this rate.

2. Fly-in (meet us directly in Salalah):
– Fly-in + Own car (/rental) – AED 2,000. Fly in, arrange your own 4×4 rental, join the group in Salalah. Full land experience.
– Fly-in + Transport in Salalah – AED 2,300. Fly in without a car – we seat you in a group 4×4 throughout. Subject to vehicle availability.

3. If you would like to rent camping gear, we offer the following options:
– Tent + Sleep Kit (sleeping bag + sleeping mat): +80 AED
– Tent only: +40 AED
– Sleep Kit only (sleeping bag + sleeping mat): +40 AED (Price remains the same whether you need the sleeping bag only, the mat only, or both.).

🥪 Enroute breakfast & lunch and meals other than those listed in the “Cost Includes” section.
🥗 Vegetarian / Dietary-Specific Meals. Our meals (including BBQ) are geared toward non-vegetarian options. Vegetarians and those with dietary needs should bring their own snacks and food for the way. We’ll do our best to help but cannot guarantee specific options.

Standard hiking and camping gear applies for this trip – including hiking boots, trekking poles, headlamp, sleeping bag, tent, and layers for cool mountain nights.
A full detailed packing list will be shared with all registered participants via the WhatsApp group well in advance of the trip.

Participants must carry all required valid identification documents for the full duration of the trip, as well as any documents necessary for border crossing (Emirates ID, passport – if required, visa – if applicable, etc.).

If you are joining as a driver, you are also responsible for ensuring you have valid vehicle documents, including a valid driver’s license and insurance covering travel in Oman.

Locations will be shared through WhatsApp group, few days before the event.

If you decide to drive your own car (4×4/SUV riders option), you can expect around 3,000 km in total for the whole trip (from Dubai and back). The route is mostly on regular roads, although it may include a few km of off-roading depending on conditions and locations, so a proper 4×4/SUV vehicle is required to ensure a smooth experience.

To keep the journey more economical and social, we encourage carpooling for this event – ideally 3-4 people per car.

A full refund is offered if the event is canceled or rescheduled by the organizers. No refund if a participant cancels or fails to join for any reason.

AFT Mountain Adventures LLC is a RAKTDA licensed organization with experienced mountaineers leading the hikes. Venturing outdoors and in the mountains involves inherent risks including but not limited to wildlife encounters, injuries from uneven terrain, weather-related conditions, and other unforeseen factors.
