Jebel Yanas | Mountain Farms & Panoramic Views
Discover a quieter side of the Hajar Mountains, where scenic trails wind through traditional villages and farmland. 🌿 Starting from a plateau above 900 metres, we’ll gradually climb through the mountain landscape, passing village homes where local farmers still live. At the top, take in sweeping views across the surrounding hills and valleys before heading back along the same trail.
Jebel Yanas offers a scenic mountain hike combining panoramic views with a look at traditional village life in the Hajar Mountains.
The route begins on a plateau above 900 metres and winds through small mountain villages and farmland. A gradual, moderate ascent takes us higher into the hills, with beautiful scenery unfolding along the way. You’ll pass traditional village homes where local farmers still live, offering a sense of the communities that call these mountains home. At the top, enjoy sweeping views across the surrounding mountains and valleys – a rewarding place to pause and take in the landscape before making our way back.
The return follows the same trail, giving us another perspective on the scenery we passed earlier. Expect a steady climb and uneven mountain terrain, with plenty of opportunities to stop and enjoy the views. Jebel Yanas is a great choice for hikers who appreciate mountain panoramas, rural landscapes and a quieter side of the UAE’s outdoors.
Jebel Yanas is located in Ras Al Khaimah, approximately 2 hours distance from Dubai.
