Event Description
One of the most famous wadi hike through the mountains of Ras Al Khaimah, following a winding trail through dramatic rock formations and canyon walls before climbing towards the remote Sheri Village. A hike where a quiet wadi walk turns into a rewarding view of a peaceful village settlement.
We’ll start from the bottom of Wadi Naqab, following the winding wadi trail deeper into the mountains, with dramatic rock formations and impressive canyon walls along the way. The first half is a relatively easy walk through the wadi, giving us time to take in the landscape and explore the natural features of the area. As we go further the wadi splits, the difficulty changes – the route becomes steeper and more challenging as we make our way up the old village path. Once at the Sheri village, we’ll take some time to experience this remote mountain settlement before heading back down the same trail, returning through the wadi that we came.
A hike that starts quietly at the bottom of the wadi and builds into a challenging ascent, rewarding views and a glimpse into the mountain life of the past.
Little over an hour and half drive from Dubai. Near the village of Al Fahlayn in Ras Al Khaimah. This hike is beautiful trail one of most favorite among hikers.
