Wadi Dhanha isn’t the UAE’s only rainbow. In the mountains of Ras Al Khaimah, Wadi Kub reveals layers of color and history waiting to be explored.
Wadi Dhanha is not only one rainbow in the UAE. Discover Wadi Kub, a hidden gem between the mountains of Ras Al Khaimah. This trail takes you through dramatic rock formations and colourful metamorphic layers that tell the story of the Earth’s past. A landscape unlike anywhere else in the UAE.
Experience the sunset, connect with nature, and enjoy this unique outdoor ritual with friends or family.
BEGINNERS PLUS 4/10 level hike is suitable for physically fit beginner hikers, those with basic local hiking experience. The attendees must be able to walk with a 4 to 5 kg pack for the duration of the hike. Suitable for active kids (age limit – 12+) and anyone uncomfortable walking on loose rocks or rocky wadis.
Little over an hour drive from Dubai. Along the way to the town of Tween (Fujairah) in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.

Any car can reach the hike start point. 4×4 are NOT mandatory.
Carpooling is organized among confirmed participants via a WhatsApp group. While we do our best to help you find a ride, carpooling availability cannot be guaranteed. If you are unable to find a carpool partner, the full cost of the hike will be refunded. WhatsApp group will be created 24-36 hours before event for confirmed participants where you might be able to find a ride partner.
