We’ve made payment easy and secure for your convenience:

  • Pay directly on our website using your credit card via the Stripe payment system.
  • Accepted cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express
  • Stripe ensures your payment information is encrypted and protected.

Cash Payments: Not Accepted. We don’t accept cash payments to ensure accurate participant counts and smooth event planning. Online payment is required to confirm your spot before the event.

For most of our local hiking events, the booking and payment deadline is typically 24 hours before the event start time. This allows us to finalize arrangements and ensure a smooth experience for all participants.

However, please note:

  • For special events (such as overnight camping, canyoning, international expeditions, etc.), the booking deadline may be extended to 48 hours or even more before the event. This extra time is necessary for more complex logistical preparations.
  • The specific booking deadline for each event is clearly stated in the event description.

We strongly recommend booking early, especially for popular events, as spots can fill up quickly.

We understand that plans can change. Here’s our policy for cancellations and refunds:

  • Refunds or credits are available for cancellations made at least 48 hours before the event start time.
  • No refunds or credits are offered for cancellations within 48 hours of the event start time, regardless of the reason.
  • This policy applies to all participants, including guests.

To cancel your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible. Payment options and instructions are provided in the initial confirmation message or email after you RSVP to an event.

All event details, including the meeting point, will be shared in a dedicated WhatsApp group created specifically for confirmed participants. Here’s what you need to know:

  • You will be invited to this group once your payment is 100% complete.
  • The group will be formed no later than 24 hours before the event start time.
  • In addition to the meeting point, you’ll receive other crucial information in this group, such as:
    • Detailed event schedule
    • Essential gear list
    • Safety guidelines
    • Other important event-specific details

This approach ensures that all participants have the most up-to-date information and can easily communicate with organizers and fellow hikers. Please make sure to check the WhatsApp group regularly once you’re added for any last-minute updates or announcements.

We offer a variety of hiking trails designed for different skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced hiker, our hikes are categorized into seven distinct difficulty levels, making it easier for you to choose one that matches your abilities.It’s important to select a hike that aligns with your fitness level. Please don’t overestimate your capabilities, and remember that terrain and weather conditions can be challenging.

Age restrictions may vary depending on the hike’s difficulty level. Generally, children are welcome on all family-friendly hikes and most regular hikes, but please check specific event details. There are no age restrictions for adults, allowing participants of all ages to join and enjoy our adventures.

Information regarding the age of children allowed on hikes is provided in the description of each event under the section “Who Can Join.”

While we don’t provide transportation services directly, we offer a convenient carpooling option for our participants. Here’s how it works:

  1. Once you’ve registered and paid for the hike, you’ll be added to a WhatsApp group for confirmed participants.
  2. In this group, you can connect with other hikers who may have extra space in their vehicles.
  3. You can arrange to share a ride with fellow participants who are driving to the destination.

This carpooling system not only helps those without transportation but also promotes a more environmentally friendly approach to our adventures. It’s a great way to meet other hikers before the event and potentially share fuel costs.

Our standard weekend hikes include:

  • Guided hike provided by a RAKTDA licensed organization
  • Certified and trained mountain leaders and assistant guides
  • Hike Insurance (full coverage for all participants)
  • Certified Wilderness first aider
  • Pack of healthy Trail Mix (nuts, dried fruits, energy bar)
  • Hydration drink 500ml
  • Tips and guidance for safe hiking
  • Mobile photo/video during the event (handled by our team)

Additionally, we offer:

  • Carpooling assistance through a dedicated WhatsApp group
  • Knowledge about flora & fauna shared by our certified guides

For specific events, additional inclusions may apply. Please check the “Fee includes” section in each event description for detailed information about what’s covered in the cost of that particular event.

Your safety is our top priority! Our hikes are led by highly trained and experienced leaders who are well-versed in the Hajar Mountains of UAE & Oman, as well as international terrains. Here’s what you can expect from our hike leaders:

  • Extensive mountain leadership experience in the Hajar Mountains of UAE & Oman
  • Significant international hiking experience across multiple countries
  • Completion of navigation and leadership courses
  • First Aid Training from UAE Government recognized institutes
  • Ability to assess and manage hiking conditions within their expertise

Most of our guides have active, multi-year hiking experience not just in the UAE, but also internationally, bringing a wealth of diverse mountain knowledge to each expedition.

For specialized activities like canyoning, rock climbing, yoga, caving, etc., we engage professional instructors with specific expertise in these areas. Rest assured, our team is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants, tailoring their leadership to the specific conditions and requirements of each hike.
