Wadi Koob | The Sinat Village Trail
A thrilling mountain adventure that takes you through winding canyon walls, scenic ledge walks, and ancient trails leading to the historic Sinat Village – where traces of mountain life and old farmlands still whisper their stories.
The team starts at the bottom of a wadi (River bed) and make their way through the winding trail. We explore some amazing rock features and canyon walls along the way. It is a same way in and out hike, where we return using same trail. First half of the hike is a real thrill with amazing ledge walk and seasonal wadi pools that we go around.
The Level 6/10 team continues their ascent along an ancient villagers’ trail leading to the plateau – where you can witness how the inhabitants of Sinat Village once lived and cultivated their land amidst the mountains.
This hike has a 2 difficulty levels:
BEGINNERS PLUS 4/10 level hike is suitable for physically fit beginner hikers, those with basic local hiking experience. The attendees must be able to walk with a 4 to 5 kg pack for the duration of the hike.
This level is also suitable for physically active kids above 10 years.
INTERMEDIATE 6/10 level hike is suitable for those who hike regularly in the UAE and those who have complete hiking kit, including hiking-specific boots, backpack. The attendees must be able to carry up to 8kg pack for the duration of the event.
This level is also suitable for physically active kids above 14 years.
Little over an hour and half drive from Dubai. Near the village of Al Fahlayn in Ras Al Khaimah. This hike is beautiful trail one of most favorite among hikers.

Although any car can reach the hike start point, 4x4s or SUVs are recommended. If you’re coming with a regular car, don’t worry, we’ll help you arrange a seat with someone driving a 4×4 for the short off-road stretch.
Carpooling is organized among confirmed participants via a WhatsApp group. While we do our best to help you find a ride, carpooling availability cannot be guaranteed. If you are unable to find a carpool partner, the full cost of the hike will be refunded.
