Where canyon walls rise and hidden pools wait – Wadi Koob is pure wild adventure.
Get ready for an unforgettable adventure at Wadi Koob! Starting from the wadi floor, we’ll follow a winding trail through towering canyon walls and dramatic rock formations. The first half of the hike will keep your heart racing with thrilling ledge walks and crystal-clear pools tucked deep in the wadi (depends on season). It’s an in-and-out trail, making the return just as breathtaking as the climb in. Perfect for those seeking both challenge and reward in nature’s raw beauty.
BEGINNERS PLUS 4/10 level hike is suitable for physically fit beginner hikers of AFT, those with basic local hiking experience. The attendees must be able to walk with a 4 to 5 kg pack for the duration of the hike.
This level is also suitable for physically active kids above 10 years.
Little over an hour and half drive from Dubai. Near the village of Al Fahlayn in Ras Al Khaimah. This hike is beautiful trail one of most favorite among hikers.

TERRAIN: A mix of off-road track, donkey trail, wadi with boulders and uneven rocky slopes.

Although any car can reach the hike start point, 4×4 and SUVs are recommended. If you have a normal car, we would accommodate you for any off road stretch of the drive.
Carpooling is organized among confirmed participants via a WhatsApp group. While we do our best to help you find a ride, carpooling availability cannot be guaranteed. If you are unable to find a carpool partner, the full cost of the hike will be refunded.
