Twilight Trail – Full Moon Exploration Hike

Ever wanted to escape the city and wander under a Super Moon in the mountains? Come join us in Ras al Khaimah for a night hike where rugged trails, quiet valleys, and moonlit peaks come alive. Feel the fresh mountain air, listen to the gentle sounds of nature, and let the Super Moon light your way.
This is your chance to step off the streets, disconnect from the daily rush, and connect with the wild beauty of Hajar Mountains at night. Whether you’re after adventure, calm, or just a different view of the world, this hike promises a night to remember.
BEGINNERS PLUS 4/10 level hike is suitable for physically fit beginner hikers of AFT, those with basic local hiking experience. The attendees must be able to walk with a 4 to 5 kg pack for the duration of the hike.
Although the hike will get you a good workout but this level does not include any technical terrain or exposed parts to climb.
This level is also suitable for physically active kids above 10 years.
An unexplored wadi of Ras al Khaimah. Away from the touristic trails. Location is shared only with confirmed participants but to give you an idea, it is close to Wadi Naqab and Jebel Yanas.

HIGHEST POINT ELEVATION : +/- 280 m
TERRAIN: A mix of off-road track, single hiking trail with some uneven rocky slopes.

– Headlamp with spare batteries (mandatory)
– Hiking poles (recommended)
Any car can reach the hike start point. 4×4 are NOT mandatory.
Carpooling is organized among confirmed participants via a WhatsApp group. While we do our best to help you find a ride, carpooling availability cannot be guaranteed. If you are unable to find a carpool partner, the full cost of the hike will be refunded.
WhatsApp group will be created 24-36 hours before event for confirmed participants where you might be able to find a ride partner.
