Rafisah Dam & Suhub View Point Hike

A bit steep but stunning climb that rewards you with panoramic views of Rafisah Dam and the entire Khorfakan coastline from the Suhub summit.
In this morning to midday hike our team of experienced guides will take you on a scenic trail in Sharjah. Although steep but very rewarding trail, full of photographic views over the Rafisah Dam and leading to the summit of Suhub viewing point. This is where you get to see the eastern coastline and look over the town of Khorfakan from above.
INTERMEDIATE 5/10 level hike is suitable for anyone with average fitness. Although the hike will get you a good workout but this level does not include any technical terrain or exposed parts to climb. The attendees must be able to carry up to 6kg pack for the duration of the event.
This level is also suitable for physically active kids above 12 years.
Little over an hour drive from Dubai. On the way to the Khorfakan in the Emirate of Sharjah.

HIGHEST POINT ELEVATION : +/- 650 m
TERRAIN: A mix of off-road track, single hiking trail, boulders and uneven steep rocky slopes.

– Headlamp with spare batteries (mandatory)
– Hiking boots (highly recommended)
Any car can reach the hike start point. 4×4 are NOT mandatory.
Carpooling is organized among confirmed participants via a WhatsApp group. While we do our best to help you find a ride, carpooling availability cannot be guaranteed. If you are unable to find a carpool partner, the full cost of the hike will be refunded.
WhatsApp group will be created 24-36 hours before event for confirmed participants where you might be able to find a ride partner.
