Jebel Jais Hike | Highest peak of UAE

We’ll ascend to 1,300 meters above sea level, leaving the city behind and stepping into a refreshing mountain breeze. Feel the thrill of standing on one of UAE’s highest peaksas the trail winds along the ridge of Jebel Rahrah, offering stunning panoramic views of the east coast.
Our route leads to the Ghaf Summit, where the sunset paints the landscape in golden hues – a perfect moment for reflection…and photography.

BEGINNERS PLUS 4/10 level hike is suitable for physically fit beginner hikers of AFT, those with basic local hiking experience and. The attendees must be able to walk with a 4 to 5 kg pack for the duration of the hike. Although the hike will get you a good workout but this level does not include any technical terrain or exposed parts to climb.

This level is also suitable for physically active kids above 10 years.

Explore the Highest mountain of UAE, located in the northern Emirate of Ras al Khaimah. The 1.5 hrs drive from Dubai to hike location itself is a trip worth doing.

TERRAIN: A mix of off-road track, well laid hiking trail, boulders and some rocky slopes.

Any car can reach the hike start point. 4×4 cars or SUVs are NOT mandatory.

Carpooling is organized among confirmed participants via a WhatsApp group. While we do our best to help you find a ride, carpooling availability cannot be guaranteed. If you are unable to find a carpool partner, the full cost of the hike will be refunded.
