Hatta Suhaila lakes | Hike

Enjoy an hike around the serene Suhaila Lakes in Hatta. This looped trail winds through lush vegetation, rugged mountain paths, and dramatic rock formations, offering peaceful lake views and a true escape into nature. Perfect for photography and mindful exploration.

BEGINNERS 3/10 level hike is suitable physically fit Beginner hikers. Beginners and first timers may also join this hike if they have would like to push their limits to learn the benefits of hiking as well as about UAE’s flora & fauna. You must be active in sports and do occasional hikes.
This level is also suitable for physically active kids above 8 years.

Hatta, located in the highlands of Dubai about an hour and a half from the city.

DISTANCE: +/- 6 km
DURATION: +/- 4 hours

TERRAIN: A mix of off-road track, single hiking trail with some uneven rocky slopes.

– A small backpack (25-35 L)
– Mid to high-cut hiking boots or joggers with good grip
– Water 2 liters and hydration drinks (sports water)
– Loosely fitted hiking trousers and shirt
– Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen)
– Energy bars and snacks
– Headlamp with spare batteries (mandatory)
– Hiking poles (recommended)

Any car can reach the hike start point. 4×4 are NOT mandatory. 

Carpooling is organized among confirmed participants via a WhatsApp group. While we do our best to help you find a ride, carpooling availability cannot be guaranteed. If you are unable to find a carpool partner, the full cost of the hike will be refunded.

WhatsApp group will be created 24-36 hours before event for confirmed participants where you might be able to find a ride partner.
